Stolen Vehicle- A caller reported someone stole her vehicle from the 900 block of NW 25th St. The male had active warrants for his arrest, he was issued citations and released. The responding officers were familiar with the female and she had been arrested for pulling a fire alarm during the night. Improper Use of Emergency Communication A 29 year old male was repeatedly calling 911 with no emergency to report. Disturbance / Trespass- A male with no fixed address was causing a disturbance at a medical facility located in the 5200 block of SW Philomath Blvd. A 45-year-old male with no fixed address that the female was associating with was arrested for Open Container. Officers contacted a 42-year-old female with no fixed address and a 45-year-old male with no fixed address in the basement of the residence. The female was unlawfully entering a trash container. He was arrested for Failure to Report as a Sex Offender. Officers discovered an unknown suspect stole multiple items from the vehicle. for the report of a theft from a vehicle. Warrant arrest/Discon-a 38 year old male with no fixed address was cited on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant (Trespass 2) and was also cited for Disorderly Conduct after harassing employees at a business in the 1700 block NW 9th Street. The female that the male was arguing with was a Linn County Corrections Client for assaulting the male and was prevented from contacting him. Warrant arrest- A 32 year old male with no fixed address was taken into custody on a Benton County Circuit Court warrant (FTA-UUV) after being contacted on a disturbance call in the 4200 block NW Clubhouse Place. Violation of Order Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of NE Conifer Blvd for a 58-year-old Corvallis resident violating a stalking order. The suspect was placed into custody, transported to the police station, and released with a citation for his warrant. The suspect left the restaurant by the time officers arrived but was located nearby and placed into custody. Neither party wanted further law enforcement involvement and no arrests were made. Upon further investigation it was learned that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Salem in October, and that the original license plate was switched. Officers contacted a 26 year old male, with no fixed address, in the area. DUII-a 21 male was arrested for DUII after officers were called to the 3200 block NW Grant Avenue where a car was located stopped in the middle of the roadway. Trespass- Officers responded to a report of trespassing at a business in the 700 block of NW Kings Blvd. The victim reported a 32 y/o male with no fixed address stole two bags of cans from the bed of their truck. He was booked at BCCF. DUII A 26-year-old male, Albany resident, was stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of SW 3rd St. Officers located 30-year-old female with no fixed address and she had warrants for her arrest. The male was taken into custody and lodged at the jail. A 41 year old female was arrested for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor. Coercion Officers responded to the 700 block of NW Kings Blvd for a report of a sex assault that just occurred. for the report of damage to property. The two were arrested, the female was taken to jail and the male was issued citations and released. He was transported and lodged at the Benton County Jail. Officers discovered the suspect had 20 warrants for his arrest. The resident of the apartment heard a noise outside the residence the night prior. The 53-year-old male was contacted and found to have a confirmed warrant through Lebanon Municipal Court. She was cited for the listed crimes, and her PO directed her to report in on Monday. Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants A 42-year-old female Albany resident was stopped in the 200 block of NW 9th St and displayed signs of impairment while operating a motor vehicle. The male was contacted and officers recovered the items. Officers contacted the suspect, placed her into custody, and later released her with a citation for the crime. The eastbound Highway 20 offramp in Corvallis towards Highway 99 is closed following a crash. Trespass- Officers responded to a male with no fixed address sleeping in the bathroom of a business in the 1800 block of NW 9th St. A 27-year-old male was contacted and he had a warrant for his arrest. Criminal Trespass II Officers responded to the 500 block of SW Monroe Av for a female, previously trespassed from the property, who returned. No reported CHP Traffic incidents for this route. Warrant Arrest An officer contacted a 57-year-old Sweet Home resident in the 600 block of NW Jackson Ave. The suspect also attempted to keep the couple from leaving, however they were able to get out. The suspect was not located. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for an alcohol evaluation prior to being booked into the Benton County jail. The victim left the area prior to calling and the suspect was not located. Both of them were extremely intoxicated. Officers discovered around 10 vehicles were broken into and an unknown suspect took multiple items. Warrant Arrest An Officer contacted a known 36-year-old transient male in the 1700 block of NE Four Acre Pl. Officers discovered an unknown male suspect broke the machine and then left. Officers discovered a vehicle driven by an unknown suspect hit another vehicle near the intersection and then drove away. The investigation is ongoing. Officers contacted her, issued her a citation and released her. Officers discovered an unknown suspect stole a bike from a bike rack in the area. He was booked at BCCF. They determined no physical fight occurred, but a male and female where in an extensive verbal argument and a 50-year-old, female, Corvallis resident was grabbing and pulling at her ex-boyfriend. The male was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail. Officers contacted the male and issued him a trespass notice. Linn County requested the subject be cited on the warrant. Officers contacted the residents at the home and searched the property to confirm the suspect was not present and that everyone was safe. Warrant Arrest Officers were on patrol in the 400 block of SW Twin Oaks Circle when they made contact with a 51 year old male, with no fixed address, who had a warrant for his arrest. Officers contacted the female in the apartment and took her into custody on some warrants she had. Fraud- A caller reported they sent approximately $100,000 in cryptocurrency to a person they met online. Burglary Officers responded to a forced entry Burglary that occurred over the weekend. The male was cited in lieu of custody. The fake bill was pointed out to the customer and she then surrendered two other similar bills and paid with actual cash. The suspect was placed into custody and later released with citations for her warrants. Warrant arrest- a 27 year old Corvallis male was cited on a Benton County Circuit court warrant (FTA-PCS HEROIN) after being contacted near the area of SW 13th St/SW Washington Avenue. Theft / Warrant Arrest Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of NW Monroe Avenue for the report of a 24 year old female, with no fixed address, who was stealing items from the store. There was no suspect information. The female was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct, Theft and Trespass. No gun was found but a concealed knife was located. She was transported to GSH via ambulance for a potential overdose. An 18-year-old is dead after a head-on collision with another car on Highway 99 West near the airport. The suspect was not located. They learned the male had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Theft Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of NW 23rd Street for the report of a theft of a garbage bin. Officers discovered an unknown suspect cut the gas line to a vehicle in the area. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to the Benton County Jail. An officer located the vehicle driving downtown and conducted a traffic stop. A witness confronted the suspect and the suspect brandished a knife at them. The suspect resides in Vietnam. Theft 1 An officer investigated the theft of a firearm in the 2300 block of NW Kings Blvd. The female was not contacted and there is probable cause for her arrest. Restraining Order Violation An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of NW Division Ave for a report of a 38 year old male from Corvallis who contacted a 64 year old female from Corvallis. One person killed in Highway 34 crash . Hit and Run An officer took a report of a cold hit and run that occurred near NW Monroe Ave and NW 1st St. Hit and Run Officers performed follow-up investigation to a hit and run that occurred on 03/23/23 in the 900 Block of NW Reiman Ave. Criminal Mischief An unknown person knocked off a mirror to a vehicle in the 100 block of NW 5th St. Black lines or No traffic flow lines could indicate a closed road, but in most cases it means that either there is not enough vehicle flow to register or traffic isn't monitored. The male was also the subject of a restraining order that needed to be served. The male was issued a citation in lieu of custody for the warrant and he left the area. The female fled on foot but was located in the area. Fight Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of SW 4th Street for the report of a fight in progress between two males. Criminal Mischief/Theft Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of SW 11th Street for the report of damage to a vehicle. The DRE determined the female was under the combined influence of a CNS Depressant, Narcotic Analgesic and Cannabis and unable to operate a vehicle safely. The officer observed the male was intoxicated and he was taken into custody for DUII. Warrant Arrest A 46-year-old male with no fixed address was contacted in the 400 block of SW Madison Ave. Officer took the male into custody and he resisted arrest, initially by sagging to the ground, and then actively resisting the officers efforts to handcuff him. Theft Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of NW 9th Street for the report of a 38-year-old female, with no fixed address, who entered the store and stole multiple items before leaving. Burglary- Officers investigated a report of a burglary at a business in the 400 block of SW 2nd St. 34 Tangent Traffic. He was taken into custody and later released with a citation for the warrant. Officers discovered an unknown suspect stole a 1997 Blue Subaru Impreza from the area. The male was arrested for Trespassing and removed from the area. The suspect was not located in the area. Officers learned sometime within the past 24 hours a license plate was stolen. He was transported to the hospital for a blood draw. When she was confronted by the officer she tried to flee and resisted arrest, she was booked into jail. She was ultimately released on criminal citations. Warrant Arrest An Officer was flagged down and told of a suspicious male carrying a chainsaw in the area of SW Cherry Av and SW 53rd St. He was stopped by loss prevention before leaving. The female reported a male with no fixed address had stolen her bike and he was contacting her in violation of a no contact order. Trespass / Warrant Arrest Officers responded to a business in the 1000 Block of SE 3rd St for a report that a female who had previously been trespassed had returned to the business. Owner was contacted and believed someone had gotten into the trunk and moved things around but nothing appeared missing. The caller believed they were in a relationship with the on-line person, but now realizes it was a fraud. Officers discovered no one was seriously injured because of the incident. Hit & Run Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of NW Harrison Blvd. Fraud- A caller reported an ex-coworker contacted him via social media requesting money. Shoplift/Trespass/Warrant Arrest- A male with no fixed address was shoplifting in a business in the 500 block of NE Circle Blvd. The suspect had warrants for his arrest. The male was detained and later issued a citation for Trespass II. The male was able to retrieve his backpack from the suspect after they stopped fighting. The male was taken into custody on several outstanding warrants and he was issued a trespass notice. Trespass- A male with no fixed address was trespassing at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of NW Taylor. Warrant Arrest Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of NW 9th Street for the report of a female trying to steal a bag of cans and threatening to beat up the victim. Assault 4 Officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of SW 5th St for a report of a 61-year-old female that punched a 30-year-old staff member at the residence. He was arrested and issued a citation. DWS Misdemeanor An officer was conducting traffic patrol in the area of NW 13th St and NW Buchanan Ave and observed a vehicle with only dealer plates.
